“Home”
Home was written at my Mother and Father’s house during the throes of a difficult divorce. I sang her the lyrics while she planted Azalea’s in her garden.
When she prompted me to release the song, I knew I was entering a new kind of territory. One where I’d be braver about putting my personal life in my music. I knew I was healed when I sang this song from the stage.
“Feels so good to be home” applies to feeling safe standing in my purpose. It took a lot of goodbyes to say hello to this part of me.
